Mary Scott is the Programs Administrator at the Bakersfield Kern Regional Homeless Collaborative (BKRHC) in Bakersfield, CA for Kern County’s CoC. She is a graduate of Fresno Pacific University where she received her BA Degree in Business Administration with Organizational Leadership as an emphasis. She has been at BKRHC since November of 2022. Mary has been in the homeless industry for over 18 years. During her tenure she has been responsible for program design, development, expansion of programs, grant writing and strategic planning for the homeless, victim services, parenting teens, youth and those experiencing mental health crisis. Mary was a part of the Built for Zero Team that reached functional zero for chronic homelessness in 2020. Mary is recognized in the movement to end homelessness in Kern County. She has Co-Chaired several committees in the CoC and has participated in several interviews about Kern County’s efforts to end homelessness.
