Bio

Hannah Tager joined Win in 2020 as an Income Building Specialist at a family shelter in the South Bronx where she worked with the shelter’s 60+ families to find work and educational opportunities. Now, Hannah advocates on behalf of these clients and other New Yorkers experiencing homelessness as a Policy Analyst at Win. Her focus is on person-centered legislative and administrative reform at the city, state, and federal levels with a specific interest in immigration. Hannah also serves as the facilitator of the Win Policy and Advocacy Employee Resource Group, a learning space for colleagues to investigate and reflect on the policy and advocacy work impacting families experiencing homelessness and social services workers. Prior to Win, Hannah worked in legal and development roles for museums and arts nonprofits. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Williams College with a Bachelor’s Degree in History with Highest Honors and a Concentration in Spanish.
