Bio
Tasha West-Baker is an unapologetically black, cis gendered female. She is a very proud believer in Jesus Christ, wife, mother, Gigi, and Matriarch. She is an activist and advocate at the core of her being. She is a fun-loving servant leader by nature. She is a change agent that has spent her career and her life, fighting for human and worker rights issues in a variety of settings. She stands devoted to helping individuals and organizations see and mitigate the impacts of racism and all ism’s that are woven into the tapestry of our society. She is a survivor of homelessness an experience that forever changed her life and stoked an already lit fire to serve others. The combination of her real-life experience, career path and education have led her to proudly serves as the Director of People and Culture at Building Changes where she is redefining the role of human resources and humbly guides the organization on its journey to becoming anti-racist and anti-oppressive.
